Youghal is situated on the south coast of Ireland, on the border of Cork and Waterford. To drive it is 40 minutes east of Cork and about an hour west of Waterford on the N25. There is a regular bus service from both of these main towns calling to Youghal every hour. From Cork follow the signs on the N25 for Waterford and Rosslare and from Waterford Follow the signs for Cork. From Cork Follow the N25 and take the first exit for Youghal keep on this road for 3 miles, this will bring you into the centre of the town. Car parking is available on the street. Once you are on the main street you can find the free car parks by turning right and following the signs. From Waterford After crossing the Blackwater river turn left at the ‘Rincrew’ roundabout. Follow this road to the next roundabout at which turn left. At the end of this short bypass the road will turn into a one way system. There is a free car park on the right here, a second free car park a further 200 meters along on the right and a third free car park can be found on the Quay side by taking the left fork at the tourist office. Parking in the town is free in the main car parks. For on street parking discs are available at the blue curbside machines. |
